An exceptional Art Deco walnut and burr oak leather top desk. This was made in England, it dates from the 1920-30’s.

The quality is outstanding, this has an absolutely stunning and unique design. Most of the carcass is burr oak, which has incredible grain patterns and a wonderful honey colour tone. This contrasts beautifully with the walnut banding, and an inset black leather writing surface in the centre of the top. There are three generous drawers on either side and a slim central drawer that is built seamlessly into the design. The desk stands on six legs with scrolled feet, the back is beautifully finished and looks identical to the front, so this looks amazing from all angles.

We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb for its age.
