Pair of Italian Quadrifoglio Table Lamp by Gae Aulenti for Harvey Guzzini 1970’s
A stunning and very rare pair of vintage 1970’s vintage table lamps designed by Gae Aulenti, made by Harvey Guzzini in Italy. This model is called the ‘Quadrifoglio’ lamp, they have lovely curvaceous plastic shades, and chrome bases. These are in good working order and are in fairly good vintage condition. Unfortunately it looks like at some stage someone put bulbs in that were too strong, and they have melted the top of the shades where the chrome caps attach. Therefore the chrome caps have to sit loosely on top rather than being screwed in as they are supposed to be, they could be glued in place to keep them firm. The melted plastic can be seen underneath the caps when they are lifted, but when they are in place the damage isn’t too noticeable, these still have a great overall look.
