A stylish and very well made set of four vintage Italian Carimate style dining chairs. They are very much in the manner of the Carimate chair designed by Vico Magistretti. These were made in Italy, they date from the 1960-70’s.

The quality is excellent, the thick solid beech frames are beautifully designed with stretchered bases and woven sea grass seats. They have a lovely and quite playful red lacquer finish.

The condition is very good for their age, the red has faded to a gorgeous light tone and has a few light surface marks here and there. They are structurally sound and very sturdy, the woven seats have some surface wear but are also strong and completely intact.
