A stunning and extremely well made Swedish vintage rosewood desk by Erik Wortz. This was made in Sweden in the 1960’s, for IKEA, and we have recently imported it.

The quality is outstanding, the rosewood colours and grain patterns are absolutely gorgeous, even on the inside of the cabinets. The front has three drawers, a drop down cabinet and pull out slide shelf above the cabinet. This is free standing, the back contains two open cabinets, each with an adjustable shelf.

We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb throughout. The cabinet on the right hand side just has some very shallow rippling to the solid wood contruction under the rosewood veneer, visible only at certain angles and not really detracting from the beauty of this piece.
