Danish Teak Royal Shelving System by Poul Cadovius Vintage 1960’s

A stylish and very well made Danish Teak wall mounting bookcase, this is the Royal shelving system designed by Poul Cadovius. It dates from the 1960’s and is in superb condition for its age, with only some extremely minor wear here and there. The rails are screwed to a wall, the shelves and cabinet can be adjusted to various positions. They are held in place by brass metal supports and small pegs. Two of the supports are black metal instead of brass, these are original Royal system supports, they were probably just acquired at a different time. Three of the shelves are slightly deeper, this also includes a cabinet with sliding doors. We also have a matching single bay system available separately, it can be combined with this to make an extra large system.

A lovely and unusual lamp from the 1950’s, this was actually meant to be used as a heater and had a special heat emitting bulb when we got it. We’ve changed this to a regular bulb because this is safer and more practical as a regular lamp! The condition is excellent for its age, with just some minor superficial wear. A fantastic pair of retro lamps in brushed steel, these date from the 1960’s. They are in good working order and are in excellent condition for their age, with only some extremely minor wear. Each lamp has three screws and supports which attach the shade, on one lamp one of these is quite loose and is a little prone to falling out.
